This is the 2nd in a series of posts I’m sending you regarding a new program I developed that can take anyone from the first steps of choosing a career, and how…to finding appropriate degrees and colleges that you can attend. I have it all, and am the all-in-one stop shop for college. THE CREATION EFFECT is a step by step program that will take you from finding your own talents and personality and choosing careers based on that. Once a career is chosen then THE CREATION EFFECT has the necessary resources for you to choose the majors that are appropriate for your career choices, as well as the steps it takes to choosing a college, visiting colleges as well as all the necessary steps in financing for college.

Many times, a simple character assessment of yourself is all you need to better understand the direction your career path takes you. Choosing your career may be as simple as understanding whether you are outgoing or the quiet type.

Do you like to be in front of a computer most of the time, or around people?

Are you creative or pretty simple-minded?

Check out this list and see where you stand with regard to your own behavior. This has a lot to do with your own full personality and can play a very significant role in what you choose as your career. I’m an extrovert and would never consider a job or career where I would have to work on my own. I like being around people Though not all the time, but I do like working with and around people. But some of you may be a little more quieter, modest and just genuinely not interested in other people.

IF YOU…

-Usually relate more to the outer world of people and things than to the inner world of ideas

-Are often good at greeting people

-Usually communicate well

-Often don’t mind being interrupted answering the telephone

-Usually like having people around them

 THEN YOU MIGHT BE AN EXTROVERT…

or

 IF YOU…

-Usually relate more easily to the inner world of ideas than to the outer world of people and things

-Prefer quiet for concentration

-Sometimes have problems communicating

-Usually dislike telephone interruptions

-Like to work alone

THEN YOU MIGHT BE AN INTROVERT…

If you made a decision above, it won’t get you to the right career choice yet. But knowing more about yourself really helps you to understand what is important to you, as well as what you would enjoy in your career choice. Remember, the better you do at your job because you like it, the more money and opportunities you can create.

You might also consider extrinsic and intrinsic factors in your life. EXTRINSIC factors are those things that satisfy your external needs, like items and material things.  Your INTRINSIC factors are those that satisfy your internal needs. What motivates you personally?

Thinking about what is important to you weighs heavily on your choice. A career can be a lifelong commitment.
