SOME MORE COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS FOR YOU

Always on the lookout…

for newer and neater scholarships. Or for many of you, just scholarships that are available. After some additional research, I found 22 different websites that provide services and/or offer actual scholarships. Check these out and hopefully will provide you with another reason to go to college and attain your degree.

Some of these sites I’ve mentioned before, but the magazine I read ASCA School Counselor published this list and this magazine has provided some past reputable information that I tend to trust a lot more.

I also have published numerous posts about various types and styles of scholarship search engines, as well as actual scholarships, yes even the weird ones! Go through this list to see what might still be available for you, including these top read posts!

2. cappex– Search engine of colleges and scholarships tailored to students individual needs.

3. careers and colleges– Free search of scholarships worth more than $7 billion.

4.collegeanswer.com– Provided by Sallie Mae, gives students, families and counselors information on how to find scholarships and navigate the financial aid process.

5. collegeboard scholarships and aid– Includes a variety of resources and links to scholarships

6. colleges and scholarships– free college scholarship and financial aid resources, searches,m ACT/SAT test prep tips.

7. collegedata.com– Provides assistance with college application process, selecting a college and applying for scholarships

8. collegescholarships.org– Provides a huge list of available scholarships as well as a search engine

9. fastaid free scholarship search– Largest and oldest private sector scholarship database

10. fastweb– Includes tools to help students search for scholarships by interest, as well as applying for them.

11. finaid– Links to a free scholarship search engine and lists of less commonly found scholarships.

12. free-4u.com– National database of scholarship listings includes scholarships based on majors, athletics, religion, minorities, state, greek life and more

13. international education financial aid– Financial aid, college scholarship and grant information for U.S. and international students wishing to study abroad.

14. mexican american legal defense and education fund– Extensive list of scholarships that may not require about immigration status or ask for social security number

15. meritaid.com– Comprehensive list of merit scholarships and academic scholarships.

16. NACAC financial aid resources– The National Association for College Admission Counseling provides a list of resources including how to pay for college education.

17. nextstudent– Includes a directory of scholarships based on college majors, skills, interests, ethnic and religious background, etc.

18. peterson’s pay for school– Provides a free searchable scholarship database

19. scholarships.com– Students can search for local, state and national scholarships.

20. scholarship america– Provides a list and information on currently open scholarships based on their availability to the public or special-interest groups.
