Waddyawannado??
Have you often wondered what certain jobs are?
What are the good ones?
Where are they?
How much do I get paid as a Nurse, Accountant, filmmaker, fashion designer, sales person, etc.?
What if I choose something and find out I don’t like it?
What if my son or daughter chooses a career that I’m afraid is not a good choice in this economy? What are the best jobs out there?
Get these questions answered and tons more by visiting www.bls.gov. This Federal Government website will allow you great access to the Occupational Outlook Handbook (OOH) which outlines updated (as of 2007) information about everything job/career/related. I refer to this website weekly in my job as it helps me to explain more details about jobs and careers for students and parents.
Just type in any job you want and it will lay out the details of responsibility, average salary and even statistics of job openings, demand and opportunities, based on regions of the US. This is the site. Nothing else has more accurate information.
